Welcome to the Fostering Resiliency Project! As an alumus from the foster care community, your voice is an important part of child welfare policy and reform. This is the reason why we have developed this research project. As stated in the Informed Consent Letter, The purpose of this research study is to give you an opportunity to share how participation in the foster care system has influenced your identity, life and future goals and to identify the factors that contribute to your resilience.The data collected in this research study will be combined together and any identifying information is kept confidential. 

We thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this survey. Our research team is composed of foster care alumni and we are available to answer your questions at [email protected]  In addition, if you have to leave the survey at any point, you can return to the same browser to finish it within a 1-week period. The survey will be open for a period of six months [May 2013 - November 2013] so feel free to share this with other foster care alumnus.
