Get Involved

We as a group of leaders often follow in the footsteps of others. One of the most influential leaders of all time was Mahatma Gandhi. Just as he, we at Fostering Change Network also encourage you to make a difference in the world.

“You must be the change you want to see in the world.”

If you change how you think you will change how you view the world. When your view of the world changes you will change the actions you take as a part of the world. In doing so the world around you will change. The problem with trying to change the world without first changing yourself is that the world will be a different place, but you will still have the same flaws within your mind therefore you will not be able to see the change which you have struggled for.

“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.”

Without taking action very little can be done. Taking action can be hard and difficult. Without the proper mindset taking the path of action will incur much inner resistance and self doubt. Gandhi warns us that this may make you to turn to preaching.  You may become satisfied with making others aware of the cause. To truly reach your potential and get to where you want to be you must practice. Then, and only then will you see change.

“The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world’s problem.”
